11/19/2025 Dear Board Members,
You will notice some changes to this meeting’s “board book” pre-read documents. In an effort to make this more useful to you, each presenter at December’s meeting has included an Executive Summary before the content that you normally see. I realize this document has become long and likely difficult to read in advance of the board meetings. While this version, sent in advance of the December board meeting, is its usual length, our goal is to shorten it dramatically in the future. With that goal in mind, please read this document focused on a few questions: 1. How helpful is the addition of the Executive Summary? (The goal is to highlight the key points you’ll hear in the board meeting from each presenter.) 2. Is that a sufficient pre-read for future meetings? (If not, see #3 below.) 3. What information in the pages that follow the summary is most valuable to you? (If we delete it going forward, will you miss it?)
The next few pages are my Executive Summary, which includes: • A summary of the draft 2026 budget • Our new strategic framework, OGSM (Objective, Goals, Strategies, Measurements)
