Real California Milk EXCELerator – Year 7 The Real California Milk Excelerator, run by the California Milk Advisory Board (CMAB) in partnership with VentureFuel, now in its 7th year, supports brand growth and innovation in the dairy sector. This year the program has evolved into two tracks: • Excelerator (growth-stage companies) • Incubator (earlier-stage concepts)
2025 Cohort Selected Companies The 2025 cohort includes 14 companies (seven in the Excelerator track and seven in the Incubator track)
Excelerator (growth stage)
1. Foggy Bottom’s Boys’ Jersey Scoops (Loleta, Calif) – Organic, lactose-free, carbon-negative farm-to-scoop ice cream with 16 g protein, made from A2 Jersey cow milk. 2. Joseph Farms String Cheese (Atwater, Calif) – 99% lactose-free string cheese with 7 g protein per stick. 3. Kea Wellness (Huntington Beach, Calif) – Shelf-stable, 100% natural liquid collagen creamers supporting skin and joint wellness 4. King Cheese Spirella Minis (Monrovia, Calif) – Hand-crafted artisanal meat and Oaxaca cheese rolls 5. Mavens Creamery (San Jose, Calif) – Asian-inspired indulgent ice cream (flavors like Thai Tea, Durian, Black Sesame). 6. Pioneer Pastures (Bozeman, MT) – Ultra-filtered, A2 whole milks crafted for superior nutrition and taste, with higher protein and lower sugar for easier digestion. 7. Sweet Craft Dessert Cups (Oceanside, Calif) – Clean-label, Italian-inspired dessert cups in BPA- free packaging.
