Register 2022

The last two games of the season were against Rangiora High School teams, and both were losses, 49–34 and 33–30. In the penultimate game, Otto Church showed superb leadership skills, bringing energy and speed to the game, while Nisal Pathirana delivered great shooting. The team showed some great running defence and time work, but ultimately, Rangiora was stronger and highly focused on defence. In the final game, the College boys did well to close the score from 12–22 at half-time to end on 30–33. With strong defence and good team communication Rangiora deserved the win, but College certainly made them work for it.

Overall, the team enjoyed the opportunity to travel around

Canterbury and play against other school teams. Although certain boys were essential in the point scoring, they could not have done it without the support of the whole team, including Max Durkin, Charlie Frost, and Ericsson Ye, who equally had important roles to play. The Most Valuable Player was Otto Church and the Best Team Member was Nisal Pathirana. Elaine Tang Manager
