Chris Graham Manager INTERHOUSE SHOOTING COMPETITION The Interhouse competition was held at Waihora on 30 October. Flower’s, School, Julius, and Somes entered teams, and shooters from several other Houses also competed. The competition included single-rise and points-score events, with House team results calculated from the best four points score. The NISS Championships were held in Hamilton on 10 July 2022, with 194 competitors from more than 35 schools. The College team was joined by Matua Cox and all 14 team members competed well on the unfamiliar shooting grounds and amid challenging weather conditions. Henry won the 2022 High Overall Skeet North Island Champion title, and the skeet team of Maurice and Henry won the 2022 North Island Skeet Team Shield. Kieran shot very well in the single rise event, with a final place of 12th after the shoot-off. The SI and NZSS Championships were held in Canterbury from 1–3 October 2022, with about 300 students competing. In the SISS Championships, Henry was 3rd in the skeet and George was 7th in the single rise. In the NZSS Championships, Henry won the skeet event and was named 2022 NZSS High Over All Skeet Champion. He was selected for the SISS skeet team, who beat the NISS skeet team. Henry also came 3rd in the NZ DTL Trophy match and was selected for the SISS DTL team, who came second to the NI team. George was selected for the five-person Canterbury Fish & Game Regional Team (for the 2nd year in a row) which won the NZ Fish & Game regional team challenge. Throughout the year, College
