2022 SOUTH ISLAND SKI AND SNOWBOARD CHAMPIONSHIPS Over the weekend of 18–19 September, the College Ski team travelled to Wanaka to compete at Cardrona at the South Island secondary school ski and snowboard championships.

Poor conditions and low visibility over the whole day meant delays in racing and the day ended with competitors only able to complete one of their two runs. Tom Picton- Warlow, Dom Botherway and Tomas Coberger finished as the three fastest College skiers from the 70 starters. Tom was 2nd overall, Dom was 4th, and Tomas 6th, with JJ Wada finishing in 8th place. Overall, the three College skiers produced the fastest combined team time to win the title from Mt Hutt College by four seconds.
