CANTERBURY SECONDARY SCHOOLS CHAMPIONSHIPS The swim team headed down to Jellie Park on 4 May to participate in the annual Canterbury Secondary Schools’ swim meet. College had a small swim team but finished with 13 podium finishes and six Canterbury titles. In the Junior events, titles were won by Mun Chi Jager in the U14 100m freestyle, Luke Manderson in the U14 50m freestyle, and Rylind Wheeler in the U14 50m breaststroke. In the Seniors, Conor McCullough won both the U18 50m backstroke and the Open 200m individual medley, while Max Harris won the U18 50m breaststroke.

Unfortunately, this year College was unable to run Swimming Sports due to the conditions of Covid-19. Nevertheless, in early May, schools were able to connect again, competing against one another in sporting events. Our boys took on this opportunity and proved our strength in this area of sport.
