The quick start instructions in the document are not applicable if purchased with preconfigured settings.

System Setup Configuring the screwdriver model and setting the torque unit before making any changes to the system parameters is essential. These are global settings that determine how the controller communicates with the screwdriver. Configuring the screwdriver model or setting the torque unit will reset all parameters to the factory default.

Configure the Screwdriver Model 1. T urn the controller on. The screen will display an error message “[E114] Screwdriver recognition error” Press OK. 2. Unlock the controller. Go to the menu button in the upper right corner of the screen. The login page will ask for a password. For new controllers, the password is ‘0.’’ Press Enter. 3. Navigate to driver model selection. Go to Parameter > Controller > Driver Model. 4. Configure the screwdriver and controller as a set. Select your controller model from the sub-menu and your screwdriver model from the list. The controller will reboot automatically. 5. Confirm the screwdriver is configured. Go to the menu. The login page will list your screwdriver model. Set the Torque Unit of Measure 1. Navigate to torque unit selection. Go to Menu > Login > ‘0’ > Enter > Parameter > Controller. 2. Set the torque unit. Go to Torque Unit > Unit of Measure. Select your desired torque unit from the list. The controller will reboot automatically. 3. Confirm the set torque unit. The operation page will list your desired torque unit in the middle of the screen. Your system is now ready for use.
