Support for developing an application that will enable preliminary intake for those seeking treatment – The intake stage is critical in receiving treatment: it is the stage where needs are identified and a suitable treatment is designed. Naturally, this stage can create a bottleneck when experienced therapists are needed. The Sheba Tel-HaShomer Medical Centre is promoting a revolutionary AI-based system that can save therapist working hours, formulate a comprehensive picture of needs and requests, enable professional prioritization, and even prepare a short summary for therapists before treatment begins. Yeladenu is assisting this venture and promoting development for children and youth populations, in partnership with the Sderot Resilience Center and The Israel Trauma Coalition. Knowledge extraction with resilience centers in the area surrounding Gaza and Judea and Samaria – Alongside professional, clinical, and applied knowledge in the areas of resilience, the resilience center teams possess organizational, managerial, and practical knowledge about optimal functioning in times of crisis, as well as the transition from normal routine to a state of emergency, to emergency routine, and back again to normal routine. The knowledge and experience they hold can serve other teams in the fields of resilience and emergency. A process of knowledge extraction, up to the stage of practical application, is currently underway, led by the Israel Trauma Coalition, which establishes and manages the resilience centers in Southern Israel, in partnership with Yeladenu.

Yeladenu will act to lead a three-year joint initiative for systemic change on the topic of child and youth resilience. The joint initiative will be executed in coordination with, and under the leadership of, the Municipality of Sderot and the Eshkol Regional Council, and will be designated for all partners active in the field from all three sectors. During the Operation, a close partnership was forged with the government ministries: Ministry of Education, Ministry of Welfare and Social Affairs and Ministry of Health. We aim to continue to work together to strengthen the resilience of children and youth on the frontlines, into the future. Together, the partners will define targets for deep-seated systemic change, as well as short- term implementation steps to impact children and youth at this time.
