why don’t we creep feed? Developing our calves without creep gives us a more accurate record of what the cow is actually producing. Is she raising a big, healthy calf on her own? Is she keeping adequate flesh doing so? Is she breeding back on time? These questions about the cow herd cannot be accurately answered with the utilization of creep feeding, or the use of other supplements. What is the benefit of this practice to you? If your aim is to reduce production costs and also keep replacement heifers, you will benefit from our rigid culling practices. The more rigidly we cull and sort our own herd the more likely you are to reap the future rewards of a functional, economical cow herd of your own by using bulls from these productive cows. Added production coupled with fertility and longevity with less feed is more dollars in your pocket.
