Work in a small group. You should make up a question that can be answered through data collection. Some possible ideas may be do with: school activities science topics environmental topics travel
Decide if you will use observations, interviews to collect the data or whether you will use data that has already been collected, e.g. in books or on the internet.
Collect the data. What questions can you ask about it? Decide how you will represent it, e.g. a pictograph, bar graph or a table. Write down some questions that you can ask about your representations. Now think about your original question. Have you answered it? Present your work to the class.
