The London Fire Brigade (LFB) is the busiest of all the fire services in the United Kingdom with a real estate portfolio of over 100 properties, the LFB owns and occupies a diverse property portfolio that supports the crucial work of over 5,000 staff. MRG were appointed to oversee the recruitment of the new Head of Property, initially on an FTC interim basis. MRG were successful in appointing an emerging estate leader from central government with extensive prior experience in the private sector. The appointed candidate has since been promoted on two occasions on a permanent basis.
MRG were approached by Kent Police following the recommendation by a partner local authority. Kent Police has a diverse portfolio throughout the County made up of over 150 assets including police stations, a training centre, offices and residential properties. candidates were approached. Following an extensive screening and selection process 10 candidates were longlisted and 5 selected for the client interview process. An experienced estates leader was appointed from a neighbouring local authority. We ran a comprehensive recruitment campaign where over 120 potential
