The data that Winston has collected is called raw data because it has not yet been organised. We organise data so it is easier to see what it is showing us. Tell a partner at least two different things that Winston’s data shows. How do you know?

The outdoor activity centre wants to provide fruit as snacks for the children. They want to make sure that as many children as possible have a piece of fruit and that fruit does not get wasted at the end of each week.
What could they do help them make decisions? What question might they ask? Should they ask opinions or make observations?
