HIGH-FIVES

From: Ben Thomas, McCall To: Wayne Dingman and Patrick Clark, McCall

From: Ritchie Rodriguez, Boise To: Cabinet Shop, Boise

A big high-five goes out to Wayne Dingman and Patrick Clark! I ran into a cash customer over the weekend, and he mentioned how upbeat and friendly our crew was and how helpful they have been in getting him the right products even though he isn’t a contractor. His exact words were, “They are indeed making building easy.” Nice job, Wayne and Patrick! Keep up the good work!

I would like to take the time to acknowledge our department and entire team. Recently, we have been dealing with issues that vary in many areas, including switching vendors and with some of our own processes that have been in place for quite some time. When it comes to processes everyone is used to, it is hard to deal with change. Not all change is good and not all change is bad, but how you accept it and choose to deal with it makes it work. Our team has come together incredibly well in every position from the start of a job to the end of it. It takes every one of us to pull it off, and the team has had the positive attitude and determination to get through. It really shows how ideas and solutions from every employee can get a team through any transition. Our teamwork and our passion for what we do really make me so proud. I wanted to recognize the team so they know how appreciative I am for every one of them. Thank you to the Cabinet Department and a big high- five to you all. We will continue to get through these changes and difficult times. I am so blessed and thankful for the team I get to work with and that is behind me every day.

From: Jamie Proffitt, Boise To: Randy Forgy, Caldwell

I want to recognize Randy Forgy, the driver supervisor in Caldwell, for a couple of major equipment safety catches. The first was from the factory: The Mack Granites were missing a suspension component that helps keep the leaf springs in alignment. Randy and the Caldwell Drive Team noticed the leaf springs had begun to fan, indicating repairs are needed. Mack sent out a nationwide recall in response to the issue. Randy and the Caldwell Drive Team showed World Class Safety. Randy and his team had a second “good catch.” To stay within budget, the company purchased several trailers second-hand and these trailers had developed potential safety issues. Randy initially took notice of this with one trailer in the Boise yard and calls were made to the other locations with the same trailers. Repairs have been completed and Randy’s attention to this highlighted an important area to add to our checklist when buying used equipment. Thank you, Randy, for being you. From: Dale Hansen, Boise To: Eric Grant, Boise I want to give a shoutout to Eric Grant. Scheduling is a very challenging task that requires a great deal of organization and pride of ownership. Whether finding a way to adjust for a 911 and take care of a builder, or thinking forward to implement additional time working with the install team, Eric does an amazing job leading us through scheduling challenges and continually looks for ways to improve to get us to the finish line. Thanks, Eric!

From: Anthony Matney, Caldwell To: Neil Bullock, Caldwell

From the first day Neil joined our team, he has been noticed as an A-player — never questioning the duty at hand, always doing as he’s asked, and looking for opportunities to help others. Neil is constantly picking up the debris in the yard to help maintain a clean and safe work environment for everyone including management, drivers, load builders, and customers. He has also shown a great willingness to learn more about the company and his fellow employees by getting involved at company events. Thanks, Neil, for being a member of the Caldwell FBS Yard.

From: Eric Schuessler, Boise To: Kent Jobe, Jaguar

I just would like to send out an “FBS High-Five” to Kent Jobe. I have had the opportunity to go on many customer relationship trips with Kent over the past few years, and the sentiment is always the same with all my customers. They feel exactly how Anthony Collins with Brighton sums it up below. I have received positive verbal feedback numerous times. This shows how invaluable these customer relationship trips are to our daily business and to keeping an open line of communication between our customers and FBS. Anthony: “Thank you, gentlemen, for inviting me on the Ennis fishing trip! I had a great time meeting new guys and reconnecting with guys I hadn’t seen in years. Kent, you did an amazing job organizing a trip where 7-10 strangers could come together and form a bond after three days. Eric, as always, keep doing the amazing job you do day in and day out. I really appreciate everything you gentlemen have done as well as everyone at FBS. You are all rock stars!!”

From: Dale Hansen, Boise To: Cabinet Install and Manufacturing Team, Boise

This is a broad shoutout covering all aspects of cabinets. The Install and Manufacturing team has been working through many speed bumps getting the cabinet shop back to a manageable state over the last couple of weeks. This includes the closure of our paint and stain phase as well as overcoming numerous challenges with vendor commitments and equipment breakdowns. The team has made huge strides in manufacturing, organizing, and prioritizing product coming in, going out, and being installed. This has been a very trying time and the team has worked together to find outside-the-box solutions to anything that comes their way. Their attitude and diligence put them at the top of the list of any team I have had the pleasure to be a part of. Thanks for all your efforts. Looking forward to the future!
