A new addition to the Boise Door Shop is underway, and we are proud to say the dirt has certainly been flying!
The new space and machinery will reduce manual lifting and machining, which puts daily strain on our team members. With the additional space, the chance of injury is greatly reduced as there will be more separation between pedestrians and forklifts, and material can be stored
Back in 2020, in an effort to get the most out of our manufacturing facility and to uphold our 2026 vision of “Safe, Guide, Wow, and Strive,” we began researching new equipment for the future so more accounts could be serviced while maintaining quality and accuracy in our product. The KVAL Apex CNC Door Machine caught our eye, but due to its size, this equipment required more square footage. Thus, we decided to grow our facility, and the new 35,000-square- foot trim shed addition came to fruition. Our current existing space will now be dedicated to more space for door production. “With more space for production, we can invest in state- of-the-art equipment like the KVAL machine and
more safely. Boise Finish is also replacing outdated forklifts with five multi-directional forklifts. These lifts will allow for more narrow aisles, maximizing our growth and utilization of the space as well as promoting the safety of our folks.
