How do ministry assignments work for off-campus students? Each off-campus student gets to pick the ministry

Classes Each student will have a Seating RA who will take attendance. The attendance policy (as per the handbook) states; “The student loses 3% off their grade per class hour missed beyond the allowed 24 classes.”

Meals in the Bollback Student Life Center: Off-campus students receive a discount on their meals when their student ID is shown at the Student Services Desk. Lunch punch cards ($45/10 meals) and dinner punch cards ($60/10 meals) may be purchased. All students should be prepared to present their ID when entering the meal line.

Lists are typically finalized and presented to the students during orientation. Is Snowcamp required for me? No – however, we love having off-campus students involved with Snowcamp. There are opportunities to be involved every weekend or just a few weekends depending on the interest.

Any student desiring to miss required activities should fill out a Special Permission Form (available on the student portal). This form notifies all necessary departments of a student’s intention to be absent. Absences from class will still count towards the student’s 24 hours that are allowed. Permission to miss class for other reasons must be arranged with the Student Life Deans and will still count against the student’s allotted 24 hours. Christian Disciplines Course: This course is required for all off-campus students. The student’s Quiet Time will be graded by the Student Life Deans at the end of each semester. Ministry grades are issued by the Ministries Department. Service Assignment grades will not apply to off-campus students.

Yes, OAE and Missions Reality are required for every student. We would love for you to raise support. Training on this will be provided for all students. Is summer ministry required for me? Yes, but it is not a requirement for you to serve at a Word of Life Camp. Of course, we would love to have you serve with us at one of our camps if you are interested.

Scholarship Opportunities: Off-campus students are not able to participate in the Student Experience Program.

Housing Options: The New York housing options are located on the Word of Life Pines property. The pricing structure is as follows:
