Striking it good for Big Brothers Big Sisters

You could hardly make your way towards the bowling lanes at Olympia Bowling on February 6, as the 38 th annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake took place. The event, organised by Big Brothers Big Sisters, usually collects $70,000 and is used to fund activities by the non-for-profit organisation. This year, 171 teams participated, 29 shy from last year’s 200. Pictured is the honorary chair for the event, Ron Graham. “I was a Little Brother when I was younger, after my father died from a heart attack,” he explained to the massive crowd gathered.
