How do I become a Designated Donor? A charitable bequest is a common and vital part of estate planning. Whether you prefer a bequest of cash or a plan that creates a trust that leaves behind assets, planning ahead makes for a smooth, often tax-deductible, transfer of property that that feels good and does good! To get started: • Contact your financial advisor today to begin your estate planning or to update existing plans. • Contact MADD if you’d like more detailed information on the types of charitable giving: call 877.ASK.MADD or visit madd.org/designateddonor • Let us know that we’ve been included in your plans. We’ll make sure you get important updates and invitations to Designated Donor events. How will my charitable contribution be used? We proudly invest 75% of all donations directly into our programs and services. Our donor relations team will be happy to work with you to ensure your gift is directed towards the areas of our mission that you care about the most.
