FIND THE YONEX RACKET THAT SUITS YOU
Yonex are one of the most popular racket brands on the market after more than 50 years in the business. They are renowned for their quality control and eye for detail. Their rackets come in three series: the Ezone (power/control), V Core (power/spin) and V Core Pro (control/touch). All have the brand’s signature isometric head shape, designed to increase the sweet spot and improve manoeuvrability. Ross Batten, the owner of All Things Tennis, tennishead’s trusted retail partner, assesses a selection of Yonex rackets to help you decide which might best suit your game
EZONE COLLECTION
Naomi Osaka, Nick Kyrgios and Casper Ruud endorse Ezone rackets, which strike a good balance between control and power while retaining the classic Yonex feel.
EZONE 98 2022 INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED
Perhaps today’s most popular Yonex racket, the Ezone 98 suits a wide variety of players. While it can produce enough power for an intermediate player, an advanced player should have little trouble controlling it. With its easy manoeuvrability and controllable power, this racket is often compared to the Babolat Pure Drive 2021. We love the Pure Drive, but we think the Ezone 98 offers greater feel.
EZONE 98L 2022 BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE
The Ezone 98L retains all the benefits of the Ezone range but is designed to be more accessible for beginners and early intermediates. The 98L is designed to be even easier on the arm than other Ezone rackets with its 285g weight and slightly thinner beam.
