The Basics of Locks
■ What does key alike mean?
■ What does key different mean?
Multiple locks have the same key number. Suitable for locations where workers need to open multiple locks with one key (store fixtures, etc.). In order to distinguish key alike/key different in the Item No., key alike products are marked with “-D” at the end of the item number.
Multiple locks have different key numbers. Suitable for places where strictly managed security is needed (lockers etc.), so that the same key will not open different locks. In order to distinguish key alike/key different in the Item No., key different products are marked with “-B” at the end of the item number.
