Cautions for Sliding Door Hardware Read the following precautions carefully before correctly mounting the product for use. Be sure to read the mounting instruction manual before mounting.
• Be sure to read and confirm the Installation Precautions (P.730 - P.741). • Test results listed here do not guarantee performance. • Please read the precautions on the product pages as well. • Do not use outdoors. • The recommended usage temperature range is 5°C to 40°C. • The door closing damper speed may vary due to room temperature, operating method, environment, etc. • The soft close function is an auxiliary function enabling the door to close slowly automatically when closed. If slammed hard, the soft close function may not operate correctly, damage may be incurred, or durability may be seriously affected. • If soft close products are used on doors much lighter than the recommended door weight, the door operation may feel stiff or the door may not slide smoothly. • We recommend using larger, easily gripped handles with soft close products for ease of operation. • The upper rollers of FD25, FD30, and FD35 can be selected from Single and Two-Way Damper. Be careful not to confuse them during installation. • When using with a lever bolt, the soft close function may not work normally due to the product characteristics of the bolt. Confirm before use. • Ensure the frame is strong enough to withstand the forces of opening and closing, and that it is suitable for supporting the door’s weight. A frame that lacks sufficient strength can significantly impair door movement and may cause the upper track to fall, posing a serious safety hazard. • For specifications where the door does not come into contact with the side jambs, see the precautions for installation (P.762). • Use reinforcing material, etc. when cutting the upper track in order to keep the cut surface from deforming. • The lower guide (for bottom mounting) FD30-HGR (P.639) should be used with the standard type (type without a soft close function). Use with the soft close function will lead to malfunction. • In locations such as hospitals or barrier-free bathrooms where various people frequently open and close the doors (several hundred times a day), consider the use of LM-80 (slope type (P.770)), etc. • Cannot be used in sauna rooms, hot springs and beach areas, and other environments with a high risk of salt damage. • The warranty does not cover defects caused by the use of detergents or high-temperature water that can affect resins or metals. • The warranty does not cover the effects of water stain adhesion, condensation, seepage, mould, etc., or defects caused by freezing. • This product is not waterproof. It cannot be used inside a bathroom where it may be directly exposed to water.

Mounting the Upper Track
1. Precautions for mortising of the upper frame • If the upper frame is not machined to the recommended dimensions, the upper track will deform and the soft close function will not function normally. FD30 FD25 FD50 FD80 FD35
