YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE NFL Flag is the largest youth flag football league in the country and we look forward to bringing our programming to Pearland. In this program, your son or daughter can learn the game of football and have fun doing it. Whether your child is a first-time flag football player or currently plays tackle, flag football is fun, fast-paced and exciting! SUMMER YOUTH BASKETBALL CAMP WITH THE HOUSTON ROCKETS The Houston Rockets and the National Basketball Academy Summer Basketball Camp is designed for boys and girls who are looking to improve their basketball skills. Throughout the camp, participants will receive personal instruction in all areas of the game, including dribbling, shooting, passing and defense, while learning lessons such as good sportsmanship and the team concept. EXPLORE ARCHERY Explore Archery is fun and a perfect fit for archers of any age or ability wanting to get involved in the sport of target archery. If you are new to the sport of archery or a beginner archer looking for an introductory program, Explore Archery has what you need to get started! You’ll learn important skills like range safety and proper shooting form, will learn about archery equipment and will play fun archery games. Explore Archery is a prerequisite for participation in other Greater Pearland Archery Club (GPAC) programs. After completing Explore Archery, participants may join GPAC / USA Archery to participate in other GPAC programs, competitions and events. GPAC offers USA Archery Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) and USA Archery Adult Archery Program (AAP) programs. Members also may compete in USA Archery competitions locally, around the state and nation. During the summer, GPAC will host beginner Explore Archery at its indoor range on Thursdays and will offer Youth JOAD and Adult AAP archery both indoors and outdoors.
