Children of any age are welcome aboard. Parents must sign a minor consent form. It is also suggested that the legal guardian of the child sign and have notarized a letter of consent to travel with their knowledge. There is $500 discount on the double occupancy rate for each person under eighteen on all departures. Babysitting Not available. Pregnancy Policy Lindblad does not have a policy in effect and takes pregnant clients on a case-by-case basis. They rely upon the opinion and advice of the woman’s own physician. (It also depends on the destination and trip.) Lindblad does have a consulting doctor and, if you will provide specifics, he will be consulted. Children’s Programs Lindblad Expeditions has introduced National Geographic Global Explorers program. This program offers activities for kids and teens like earning a Zodiac “driver’s License”, recording wildlife sightings, participate in daily field activities. This program will be featured on select Galapagos and Alaska sailings. Their cruises are designed so that family members of all ages can enjoy their voyage. Hands-on learning with onboard naturalists, kayaking, snorkeling, and hands-on science can offer fun for active and curios children. The ships are small, so the children are never far from their parents.
