Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking to recruit to the post of Redevelopment Technical Director for its new hospitals redevelopment programme. ICHT has established a new hospitals redevelopment programme to build new and significantly modernise the main hospital sites at St Mary’s, Charing Cross and Hammersmith. This ambitious programme promises to be one of the largest scale redevelopment programmes across the NHS with objectives to develop a world class facility that is transformational, future proof, adaptable, flexible and sustainability. Whilst providing high-quality environments for healthcare provision the programme will also deliver a world class hub for transitional bio- medical research. Working within the redevelopment team to deliver the ICHT redevelopment programme the Redevelopment Technical Director will ensure the programme properly considers and is at the forefront of design and con- struction thinking to deliver high quality, adaptable and sustainable infrastructure supporting clinical teams to deliver world class care in a welcoming environment. As the technical lead you will look at how the built environ- ment supports our ambitions to deliver net zero carbon infrastructure and flexible digital environments.
