The Trust strategy to deliver ‘better health, for life’ is rooted in a set of core values – to be kind, aspirational, collaborative and expert – and focused around three strategic goals: • To help create a high quality integrated care system with the population of North West London • To develop a sustainable portfolio of outstanding services • To build learning, improvement and innovation into everything we do The estate is a key enabler in realising this vision and clinical strategy. It is therefore imperative that we plan for major redevelopment of all of our hospital sites. We launched a major programme in 2019 to redevelop and refurbish our ageing hospitals to help us: • provide the best possible care for our patients, responding to the changing needs of our patients and local communities • continue our long legacy of research, innovation and safety • ensure the best possible working environment for our staff • meet new aspirations for ‘user focus’, community partnership, integrated care and sustainability.
