Climb Hire is awarded its first government grant of $750,000 from the California Workforce Development Board’s Breaking Barriers, as well as $4.1M from MacKenzie Scott’s Yield Giving, which is used to launch Climb Together. Climb Hire launches the Digital Marketing track that will go on to be known as Paid Search Marketing.
Sorbriqué “Sorby” Grant becomes President and CEO. Climb Hire becomes free for Climbers. Climb Hire launches IT Support. Across IT Support and Paid Search Marketing, we run 8 cohorts this year. Climb Hire serves almost 400 Climbers, more alumni than the total of the previous 5 years combined.
