SeSSIon BrIeFInG Say: We are holding these 10-minute transformational sessions with you because that will contribute to delivering great experiences to our guests and we will hopefully create loyal guests because of that. But, delivering and creating experiences means there that needs to be someone creating and delivering… Therefore, in order for us to be successful we need... YOU. After all, YOU – Ambassador of Sofitel - are the most important contributing factor to the overall success of our guest experiences. YOU play a key role in creating and delivering these unique and memorable moments for our guests. Ask a rhetorical question (a question that does not need to be an- swered): How can we involve our guests more? What could we do to turn something ‘ordinary’ into something memorable? Say: That is the reason why we are now going to talk about how we can involve our guests more through storytelling. I know we have great stories to tell at Sofitel! Ask: Who can give me an example of somebody who can tell great stories? Possible answers: • Barack Obama in his many speeches • Richard Branson never shies away from an opportunity to tell sto- ries about the remarkable little moments of his life, and the lives of others. He shares what he thinks, what he does, what he’s seen, what he’s heard - and that openness of personality is reflected in his brand.
Ask: Who would like to share their idea of a good story subject? And what are you going to say?
Ask: Do you already have guests in mind with whom you want to share this story?
Ask: for 1 volunteer to tell their story to the group. Let him/her tell the story.
