Transformer Modules

SeSSIon 13 | WHere Am I on tHe ScAle? Learning Objective: Reflect on the ‘I share my passion’ module and make a personal plan on how to share my passion at work with colleagues and guests.

1. How would I scale myself with regards to ‘sharing my passion’ to make guests feel welcome and valued?

Say: On your marks…. go!

Evaluate the positioning: • Ask the people low on the scale for their reasoning. • Then ask the people high on the score why they have placed them- selves at that end. • What have you done since our first session to share your passion? Would you recommend that to others? Why? • What would you need to DO in order to get higher on the scale + move! What does it take? • a) People on the higher end of the scale; how can you challenge / inspire the others to take the next step and move forward? • b) People on the lower end of the scale; was that useful information for you? Did that appeal to you? Did it make you want to move up the scale? Why, why not? Facilitate and challenge the discussion. Ask people, after the discussions, whether they feel like re-scaling themselves; ‘now that you have listened to others, would you feel like re-scaling yourselves?’ Where would you now go and why?

SeSSIon BrIeFInG Explain: We have come to the last session of our ‘I share my passion’ module. We have done lots of exercises and had many discussions, as well as some great stories of how we shared our passion with our guests to make them feel welcome and valued. In the room on the floor, you see a scale from 1-10 (1 being not good, 10 being very good). I am about to ask you a question and you need to consider where on the scale you stand with regard to that question. Then I want you to go and stand on your spot on the scale. Are you ready?

Make sure that there is actual movement.

Say: Thank everybody for their honesty and openness. Give everybody the opportunity to write down a few personal notes about the com- ments they received or heard. tAKe-AWAYS • Asking colleague Ambassadors for help and experience, helps me to grow and move forward. • Sharing ideas opens my mind.
