tAKe-AWAYS • Sometimes it is necessary to have a partner to success in order to help and sustain one another through a simple partner method. • We can use the partner method throughout all of the experience mod- ules, not just for the feel welcome feel valued module. • Together, a team is stronger than just the individual, but a team is just as strong as the individuals, therefore, strong individuals make strong teams and vice versa.
Say: A partner can be a great tool to help you to stay focused and de- liver the optimal service.
Explain: The next step is to find a partner to support you, and you must also support your partner. It’s a 2-way street • You are going to talk about how you plan to work on the selected “issues”. The role of your partner here is to give suggestions and share advice. • You will work on a support-giving time frame. - Example of time frame: your partner likes coaching by telephone on a weekly basis. Or you like one-on-one coaching on a monthly basis.
SuStAInInG 2 – 4 weeks after this session:
Transformer note: This partner system lasts as long as the Ambassadors feel that it is necessary and relevant.
Send an e-mail with inspirational quote and motivational “team” ideas in order to stimulate the partner to success meetings. Ask the partners how they are doing and/or whether they need any further assistance from you (the transformer) on this matter. See communication calendar for further instructions on the above e- mail.
Explain: To assist you, I have a handy worksheet. You can choose to use this worksheet, but I will leave it up to you whether you want to use this worksheet. You may choose to address each other’s needs (in order to deliver the desired Sofitel experience) in another manner. Please sit next to your partner and collaborate to fill in the Partner worksheet and identify the categories: ‘needs improvement’, etc. Since this is the first time you fill in the Partner worksheet, you need a starting point for your situation right now, by discussing your current achievements according to the behaviors. Say: You have 8 minutes’ time in total. I hope you will manage to find some time after this workshop, to schedule time in your agendas to really coach each other on a regular basis, in order, for example, to discuss the progress each of you has made, to share advice in order to achieve more, or to ‘set’ new goals to work on. So when you meet each other, you should talk about the progress you have made. Transformer note: Let the participants pick their own partner to “coach” them in delivering the desired experience, FW FV. A nice challenge would be that the partners keep in contact or even meet each other once a week, for example, to “fill in the peer evaluation” and evaluate the progress.
