SeSSIon 8 | mInd-Set, mAKe tHeIr dAY Learning Objective: To feel the power of being able to make guests feel welcome, which also makes your day.

Set uP 10 min Indoor Team

SeSSIon BrIeFInG Give a personal example of how someone recently made your day (truck driver blinking his taillight when you made room for him on the highway; someone carrying your bags; someone giving you a compliment; someone taking over one of your responsibilities, etc.).

Explain that happiness and feeling welcome is really a matter of small things.

Ask all the Ambassadors to go out of the meeting room and make someone happy, make someone’s day. Give them 10 minutes to do so.

When the Ambassadors come back, ask for some experiences and ex- amples.

Wish them many moments of ‘day-making’ with the guests.

tAKe-AWAYS • You make someone’s day with small gestures. • If you make someone’s day, you yourself also get a good feeling. • To make someone’s day is not rocket science.

SuStAInInG About 6 weeks after this session:

Send participants a reminder about ‘ making their day’ (Did you make someone’s day today?) See the communication calendar for further explanation.
