CERTIFIED PEER RECOVERY SPECIALIST The Certified Peer Recovery Specialist training is a Maryland Addictions and Behavioral Health Professionals Certification Board (MABPCB) approved program. Students who have been impacted by addiction are provided the training necessary to become Maryland State Certified Peer Recovery Specialists. Upon successful completion, students will be equipped with the skills to assist peers in living a healthier lifestyle.
PROGRAM • International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium • 64 hours of course work that is typically completed in six weeks • 500-hour externship and 25-hour certified peer supervision • $1,100 for program cost
