WELDING The Welding Technician Certificate Program prepares students with a general knowledge of the industry. Through hands-on experience, individuals will train for a successful career as commercial welders. The program emphasizes safety, and participants will learn various welding technologies, including oxyacetylene, SMAW, TIG, and MIG. After training, students will be prepared to test for the American Welding Society D1.1 certification.
