COMMERCIAL TRUCK DRIVING (CDL B) CDL Class B operators drive a variety of commercial vehicles including dump trucks, delivery trucks, passenger buses, and other vehicles more than 26,000 pounds. The CDL Class B program covers the theory and driving skills required under the federal entry-level driver training requirements. The class provides students with training on defensive driving techniques, road safety, pre-trip inspections, and the ability to control and maneuver vehicles in varied driving situations. Applicants must complete a screening process, have a current DOT physical card, and a CDL Class B learner’s permit with air brake endorsement.
