Registration is now open for Vankleek Hill’s 2019 Porchfest. Organizers of this year’s Porchfest are looking for applicants to register as performers, porch hosts and any volunteers willing to help set up the event. Performers and porch hosts have until until May 31 to register. Last year’s edition included 29 performers on 29 different porches in Vankleek Hill, the largest the event has ever been. The fifth annual Vankleek Hill Spring Indoor Yard Sale and Vendor took place over the weekend, on Saturday April 27, with over 35 vendors present. Organized by Events by JMJ, the Spring Sale included decor, food, artisanal and jewelry kiosks, amongst many others. The entry fee for the Spring Sale was $ 1 or a non-perishable food item in support of the Swim to Survive Program at Pleasant Corners Public School. Some vendors present at the Vankleek Hill Community Centre included 24 Yard Sale Tables, Steeped Tea, Decor Sense Imports, Busy Mom’s Bath Bombs, The Barn Wood Store, and many more. —supplied photos
