The holidays may be over, but we’re not putting away our lights just yet. Do you know how powerful they are? Lights contain all sorts of healing properties, some of which researchers are only beginning to uncover. Studies have found that spending 30 minutes a day exposed to artificial light, like that from a light box, can simulate the benefits of natural sunlight and minimize the effects of seasonal affective disorder (SAD). If you tend to feel blue in the winter, adding a bright light to your work area or bedroom might be just what the doctor ordered. Light shows promising potential for helping memory, too. In studies with mice, researchers at MIT found that exposure to lights blinking at specific frequencies reversed damage to areas of the brain affected by Alzheimer’s. Studies in humans are pending, but the results look exciting. Light has other healing properties, as well. For example, LED lights have been used for over 40 years on burn patients to promote faster healing. Now, new technology has made light even more useful in reversing the effects of aging. When it comes to weight loss, light is also your best friend. Are you sick of heading to that 5 a.m. high-intensity workout class that shows minimal results? How good does it sound to lose two inches of fat in less than an hour? With Ultra Slim light therapy, those types of results are attainable. The red-light therapy that Ultra Slim utilizes is a non-laser treatment that SHINE BRIGHT

has been successful in diminishing fat cells and tightening loose skin. Taking just 32 minutes, it’s a way to lose fat quickly without undergoing invasive surgery. “How is this possible?” you might be wondering. By targeting the subdermal fat cells, Ultra Slim light therapy tricks them into opening up, releasing fatty acids and triglycerides. In two to three days, the cells close back up and the fat exits your body though its natural waste cycle. This is groundbreaking technology, and it’s time to check it out for yourself!

No pain, no more weight gain, no more frustrating workouts. Get light for the new year!
