Selecting New Medicare Coverage If you recently received notification that Aetna will no longer offer its Medicare Advantage PPO Plans (your Medicare Advantage Plan) at the end of this year, you must select new Medicare coverage to ensure the same level of healthcare protection, including prescription drug coverage. You must make your selection by December 31, 2024, or you will be placed into Original Medicare and lose your drug coverage.*
