Direct Sourcing A Direct Sourcing platform can support a healthcare organization’s flex, float, and internal agency operations, and complements the existing talent acquisition department. Direct Sourcing allows healthcare organizations to engage with known and pre-qualified talent pools, referred candidates, and other externally sourced talent. It provides talent pool segmentation and curation to optimize the direct-sourced talent pool for the highest levels of engagement. When contract requisitions are created in a vendor management system (or VMS, as described above), these orders can first be routed to an organization’s directly sourced talent pool. The VMS platform activates sourcing channels for internal float pool, direct hire aggregation, staffing agency management, and independent contractors for all clinical and non-clinical talent needs. Direct sourcing is intended to provide more options to source qualified clinicians faster while reducing costs.
