Midwest Brand Return Policy
1. Eligibility and Timeframes 1.1 Standard Window: Returns accepted up to 45 days from invoice for current, cataloged items in saleable condition. Repacks and/or unsaleable items will receive reduced credit. 1.2 Damage/Shortage Claims: Report within 10 business days of delivery. 1.3 Report to saleshelp@mwf.net, customer service at 1-800-444-7313 or contact your sales representative. 1.4 Special/Custom orders are non-returnable and non-cancelable. 1.5 Suspended items are not eligible for return.
2. Restocking Fees 2.1 No restocking fee will be charged, if it was a Midwest error/defect. 2.2 15% standard restocking fee on all other stock returns.
3. Condition and Packaging 3.1 Items must be clean, unused, complete and saleable in original packaging without any custom price stickers. 3.2 RGA number should be visible on the outside of the return shipping box to avoid delays in processing. 4. Authorization 4.1 Simple RGA request: email saleshelp@mwf.net with PO, invoice or order number with items, quantities and reason. 4.2 Fast Turnaround: Midwest will issue RGA within 1 business day; valid for 30 days. 4.3 Unauthorized Returns: Returns without a valid RGA are not eligible for credit. 5. Freight and Labels 5.1 Customer must use Midwest provided freight labels when returning product. 5.2 Midwest Error/Defective: Midwest provides prepaid labels and covers freight. 5.3 Customer Ordering Error: Midwest issues a label at our negotiated rate and deducts from the credit. 5.4 Original Outbound Freight: Additional charges may apply, including original outbound freight.

Key Return Policy
This section applies to key categories below and supersedes the general return terms where they differ.
6. Miscut Mechanical Brass Keys 6.1 Miscut brass keys are not eligible for return.
7. ChipKey® Car keys 7.1 All ChipKey returns require prior authorization from the Technical Support Team by calling 866-674-8226.
7.2 All products must be returned to receive credit or reimbursement. 7.3 Undocumented/unauthorized ChipKey returns are not eligible for credit.
8. Uncut Requirement 8.1 To receive full credit, all ChipKey car keys must be returned uncut. 8.2 Any cut ChipKey car key received will be processed under the ChipKey Re-blade Program. 9. Defective Returns 9.1 Defective/product functionality/programming issue claims made within 2 years of receipt receive full reimbursement of the key price. 9.2 Similar claims after 2 years are reimbursed at 75% of the key price. 9.3 Any ChipKey car key received without prior communication and confirmation from technical support are not eligible for reimbursement. 9.4 Damaged keys or keys with loss of functionality due to improper use or misuse are not eligible for reimbursement or credit. 9.5 Special order ChipKey car keys with a confirmed defect from technical support are eligible for credit per 9.1 and 9.2 above. 9.6 Miscut special order keys will follow the miscut policy outlined in section 10 below. 9.7 A pre-paid return shipping label is provided when five (5) or more defective ChipKey car keys are being returned. Smaller returns accumulated that together a total of 5 or more defective ChipKey returns may also request a pre-paid return label; exempt from 45 day return window noted in 3.1. 9.8 If a key is found to be miscut, it will be processed under the ChipKey Re-blade Program.

10. Miscut ChipKey® Car Keys 10.1 Miscut ChipKey car keys cut on a KID® machine, Sidewinder Konnect™ or Sidewinder Konnect Plus™ will be reimbursed at full price. 10.2 Miscut keys received via the ChipKey on Demand program will be replaced at no additional cost or reimbursed at full price. 10.3 Miscut ChipKey car keys cut on manual equipment will be re-bladed and returned to the account or credited through the ChipKey Re-blade Program in section 11 below. 11. ChipKey® Reblade Program 11.1 Stores can return Miscut ChipKey car keys to Midwest under the ChipKey Re-blade Program. 11.2 Eligible SKUs will be re-bladed and returned to stores for a fee of $11.00 per key. 11.3 Miscut X-Keys are not eligible for re-blading and will be credited 50% of the key price. 11.4 Any ChipKey car key returned as miscut that is found to be defective will be credited based on the Defective Returns section 9 above.
