sights including the Colosseum , Pala ti ne Hill, the Trevi Fountain , and the Pantheon , and were blown away by their an ti quity and monumental scale. They visited the Va ti can , marvelled at Michelangelo’s work in the Sis ti ne Chapel , took a tour around St Peter’s and a close look at Michelangelo’s Pietà, and watched the Swiss Guards in their splendid uniforms. In January, a group of 20 Sixth Form students had a great ti me exploring Dublin with the English department. The two ‐ day trip was packed with many interes ti ng ac ti vi ti es, including visi ti ng notable sites like the Oscar Wilde statue , Trinity College, Ha’penny Bridge , Dublin Castle , and the Na ti onal Gallery of Ireland . The trip fi nished with a visit to Christchurch Cathedral , o ff ering a blend of history and spiritual re fl ec ti on, as well as the Guinness Storehouse , adding a touch of fun and cultural insight. The girls returned with fond memories and a broader perspec ti ve on Dublin’s history and charm. Lives on a project to help the local community. This includes refurbishing buildings, pu tti ng in FAITH (Food Always in the Home) vegetable gardens, building pig pens and chicken coops, se tti ng up handwashing facili ti es, and helping with repairs around the village.
