Though we've never met face-to-face, I feel a deep connection with him through his father, Mr. Matthew Jackson.
The story begins in February 2023 at Traders Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi, where our team showcases the best of Shangri-La culture every day. This dedicated team strives to elevate our guests' experiences to a level where they can't discern between a four-star and a five-star service. Mr. Callum Jackson was so impressed by the hotel facilities and service during his business trip to Abu Dhabi that he highly recommended the hotel to his father, Mr. Matthew , for his cricket training camps groups in Abu Dhabi.

He followed his son advice and visited Traders Qaryat Al Beri for a site inspection in Feb 2023.
During his visit, I personally observed his unwavering commitment to providing top-tier service to his clients.
In our discussions, I learned that they were planning a family dinner before returning home to the UK. Recognizing an opportunity to show our gratitude to Mr. Callum and to offer Mr. Matthew a taste of our exceptional F&B offerings, I extended an invitation for them to dine at Shang Palace at Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi.
SHANGRI-LA & TRADERS QARYAT AL BERI, ABU DHABI , consistently leaves a lasting impression with its warm ambiance, exceptional service quality, and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every visit is memorable and fulfilling. Starting from the 2023/2024 season, SPORTA Group generated 700 RN in Q4 2023 & 960 RN in Q1 2024 at Traders Hotel , hosting several groups, including the England national cricket team, who usually stay just across from Traders Hotel at the Ritz Carlton Abu Dhabi. After experiencing the service at Traders, the England Lions have decided to consider Traders Qaryat Al Beri for their upcoming training camps in Abu Dhabi instead of the Ritz Carlton, as they haven't felt any difference in the quality service between the two hotels. This success was attributed to the impeccable service provided by the Traders team, making it their top choice for future camps in Abu Dhabi.
While he was looking after one of his groups at the complex, Mr. Matthew stayed at Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri Abu Dhabi . As a token of appreciation for his support , we upgraded his rooms to a Specialty Suite. During his stay, he enjoyed the stunning sunset view of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque from his upgraded room. He captured a video of his wife, Mrs. Christine , who is the finance and HR Manager at SPORTA Group . Coincidentally, Mr. Callum received this video just as he was contemplating how to propose to his girlfriend, Ms. Emily
After finalizing his decision,
Mr. Callum
contacted me to plan the proposal at sunset.
The operations TEAM and I worked together to provide him with the full support needed to make their day extra special. The celebration at Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri left an unforgettable memory for the family , who now consider it not just a hotel, but their home away from home .
