Our End-to-End eCommerce Logistics Journey As we continue to grow as the UK’s leading logistics company, we want to highlight all the services Whistl offers to help you to understand how our wide range of services support e- commerce businesses from helping drive consumers online to managing order returns.
We help our e-commerce customers in a variety of ways:
To increase online sales, ecommerce businesses need to drive traffic to their website by promoting their brand/product to consumers in their homes. Through our Mail, Posthub, Doordrop, Leafletdrop and Relish businesses, we have a range of addressed and unaddressed advertising channels (Direct mail, catalogues, Doordrops, Partially Addressed mail, sampling) that can help a brand achieve this. Now the item is ready to be sent, how does it get to the consumer? Via us! Both our Whistl Parcels and Parcelhub teams manage delivery of items. We collect, process and sort to the appropriate location and service then handover to our delivery carrier partners for delivery to the end consumer. We can also provide smart tracking keeping the consumer informed of their items journey, ensuring they receive a great delivery experience. Once consumers have placed an order online, their items need to be picked, packed and shipped, which is where our Fulfilment team can help. With services including warehousing, management of stock, picking and packing orders, and arranging despatch.
Our Contact Centre service is part of our Fulfilment offering but can also be a standalone service. With 500 seats across our Farnborough, Gateshead and Paignton sites, we help ecommerce businesses manage inbound queries from consumers about their products via calls, emails and social media.
Sometimes consumers may have over ordered or received something they no longer want and wish to return. Our Fulfilment business offers re-work (mending damaged stock) and re-pack (re packaging ready to send out again once a new order is received for the item). This includes updating their stock inventory ready for the item to be picked and packed again.
