After years acting as the mascots for Lucky Dog Theatre Productions, Lucky and Ducky finally have their own show. It’s completely stupid, very silly, a bit naughty, and is suitable for adult ‘children’ as much as ‘regular’ children. Lucky performs his self-penned songs on X-Factor – but is Simon Cowell all he seems? Features a guest appearance from singer-songwriter Dean Friedman. Dean Friedman will not actually be present. The Guildhall balcony becomes the stage for another free evening of live music. The Bluebirds are a close harmony trio passionate about keeping the vintage sound alive. Following last year’s sell-out success, Café de Swing returns, bigger and better. Inspired by the gypsy guitarist Django Reinhardt, the jazz quartet now has a vocalist-accordionist to add to the line-up of clarinet, guitar and bass guitar. Formed in 2021, the quartet has played at local and private events, including last year’s Guildford Fringe Festival. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon of melodic jazz evoking a Parisian café.
