On 3rd March 1943, a woman fell at Bethnal Green station. Within seconds, 300 people were crushed on the staircase. 173 people died. It was the largest civilian disaster of the Second World War. Two actors play a variety of roles, often quoting verbatim survivor testimony. The audience will experience the claustrophobia, smell, sounds and darkness of the shelter - and the tragedy - in this disturbing immersive experience. Harvey is a circus artist that’s been performing since the age of six and has since grown to become a well-known juggler and street performer who has entertained countless audiences across the United Kingdom, including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. With his unique style of comedy and juggling, that will have you laughing till your stomach hurts. He often incorporates dangerous circus stunts, such as the Rola Bola, into his performances, keeping audiences entertained and captivated.
