WAYS TO ENHANCE YOUR TANZANIA SAFARI

REACH THE ROOF OF AFRICA One of the world’s greatest feats, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro’s arid slopes is an epic adventure and a courageous addition to your safari expedition. Ascend through five different habitats and pierce the clouds before arriving at the summit where you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the African savannah and Rift Valley. Our expertise and trusted partners promise you’re in safe hands during your hike. IMMERSE YOURSELF IN THE CULTURE OF STONE TOWN A stay in Stone Town during your Tanzania holiday helps to unveil Zanzibar’s fascinating history. A maze of colourful and chaotic alleyways, Arab, Indian, Persian and European influences blend with local African traditions in this bustling town. On a visit to Stone Town, be sure to see the Town Market, Slave Market, House of Wonders, Sultan Palace and The National Museum. EXPERIENCE THE ALLURE OF PEMBA ISLAND Regarded as one of Africa’s best scuba diving destinations, Pemba Island is part of the heavenly Zanzibar Archipelago. Dreamy sunsets settle on the Indian Ocean horizon and powdery beaches promise serene relaxation, while inland, the island’s lush hills are dotted with clove plantations. Scattered with ruins of mosques and tombs, pair interesting history with discoveries of thriving coral reefs.

WHY TANZANIA? We could write a whole book about the allure of Tanzania, one of the world’s finest adventure destinations. To give you a hint of how special it is, hear the experiences from our team.

The Ngorongoro Crater was an absolutely stunning place to visit. It's a caldera, which is an ancient volcano that has collapsed in on itself, and it's more than 16 kilometres in diameter. It’s a garden of wildlife, with some of the best views in the world. Incredible.

We were driving between two locations in the Serengeti. It was on a Sunday, just passing by the villages and hearing the people sing. They were at mass. And that was lovely because it was just a community coming together. And I was just listening to it going by, it was just so beautiful.

One of my best memories to date is summiting Kilimanjaro in 2012 while I was studying in college. The achievement of being the first out of our group to summit and seeing the sunrise on the top of Kilimanjaro was something quite spectacular.
