To realize this, the country has been heavily focusing on enhancing air connectivity through groundbreaking initiatives such as the Saudi Air Connectivity Program. 2023 witnessed the launch of the nation's new air carrier, Riyadh Air, set to begin operations in 2025, and NEOM Airlines, expected to start operating in 2024. Together, these initiatives are part of Saudi Arabia's strategic plan to attract tourists and make it an accessible destination for cross-border visitors.
