living streams that emanate from the heart and the life of one who knows and loves Christ Jesus. We have a responsi bility to bring a blessing to all those whom we contact. We should enrich the lives of those we meet with the talents, gifts, and attainments which should characterize our lives. None of us should be neutral; all should be useful, fruit bearing believers. 2. We are to Shine on Others Phil. 2:15 Lights are a great blessing in life. Our modern civilization would be sadly and terribly hindered if there were no stop and go' lights on the corners. The light of the X-ray' has brought new powers of healing to human eyes and hands. Light is essential to' each of us and is always for the blessing of others. Christians are called “children of light” and each one is to shine according to the character of his knowledge and under standing. One shines blessedly on the lives of little children. Another shines most on the minds of great men. Let us SO shine. 3. We are Debtor to Others Rom. 1:14 The world is in dense darkness con cerning eternal matters. Little do they care where they are going and not many care how they are going. In our own enlightened United States probably very few know how to be saved. Professional men and women, those who move in educational circles, those who follow po litical aspirations, and many others know almost nothing about the value of the Lord Jesus Christ, the way of salva tion, and the teaching of the Word. For this reason, we need to fulfill our obliga tion to them by giving as widely as pos sible the news concerning our Lord Jesus Christ. 4. The Message Is Committed to Us 2 Cor. 5:19 God has entrusted to us the story of His salvation. For that reason we are to be stewards of the manifold mysteries of God and invest this knowledge in lives that will produce dividends. We have the responsibility of spending and being spent for Christ. We have this message committed to our trust for in vestment in human hearts. We should not hide it in the earth nor under a bushel nor neglect it. It is our respon sibility to see that the bread of heaven which we enjoy is given out to others who are hungry and dying in their need.

During my recent visit to Germany I found nothing more heartbreaking than the plight _of the Hebrew Christian children. In Berlin alone there are 2,000 of these pitiful children — all of them half-starved, 1,000 of them threatened with tuberculosis. Many of these children have

In addition to the above project we are also building an orphan home for Jewish-Christian children near Hamburg; The huts for this home have been purchased in Denmark. The beds, blankets and other equipment were pur chased in England from surplus army stocks. The immediate need is' to pay for the food and upkeep of this Home, costing $10.00 per child. In the name of our compassionate Lord, the Christ-Child, we appeal to you at this Christ mas season for the starving, tubercular, Hebrew Christian orphans of Germany. They can be rescued before it is too late. We plead for your Christmas gift early. Our Lord will reward you in accordance with Matt. 25:40. $20.00 will pay for 3 months recuperation for a starved child. $10.00 will support an orphan child for a month. $10.00 will pay for a big CARE food pack age for a starved family in EUROPE. lost their parents who were killed in the con centration camps. Some of them do not have a single surviving relative. Their condition is beyond description. The Dutch Government has given us per mission to take groups of these starved Hebrew Christian children to Holland for a 3-months period of rest, recuperation and proper feeding. Some will stay longer than 3 months when necessary. The cost for the food for this 3-month period will be $20.00 for each child.
