Add new devices such as hubs, switches, gateways, routers, access points and/or servers of any kind to existing PA Technology M. Use any PA Technology for commercial purposes or advertising; including unsolicited commercial email [Commercial sponsorship of academic projects, e.g., the inclusion of banner ads on a project web site, is strictly prohibited absent the express authorization of the Headmaster]. N. Use any PA Technology for partisan political activities O. Install software on PA Technology that interferes with day-to-day work or hinders the operation of PA Technology P. Violate this Policy off-campus anywhere in the world using PA Technology Q. Possess any software, resource or equipment whose purpose is to effect one of the violations listed in this Policy; or attempt to violate any provision of this Policy. IX. Privacy: Users should have no expectation of privacy with regard to their use of PA Technology. PA may access, view, investigate, and delete any and all information stored on or created with PA Technology. PA may do so without cause and without prior notice to the User. ……………………………… . X. Personal websites, Blogs, profile directories, or social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Pinterest, WhatsApp, and all others are not monitored by PA. However, Users who engage in behavior unbecoming a member of the PA community during school hours or during school related events through the use of a website will be subject to penalties. The school has the right, but not the duty, to inspect or review social media posts. Pillow Academy shall not address students’ social media posts unless derogatory comments about faculty and staff are made, threats of violence during school hours or school events, or if Pillow Academy is represented in a negative light.
