She has held senior roles at HSBC, Brookfield Asset Management, KPMG, LGIM, BBDO, where she led go-to- market, investor relations, and sustainable value creation initiatives across the globe. Michelle began her career in Brazil in advertising, working on campaigns for brands such as L’Oréal and Coca-Cola, before transitioning into finance. In 2024, driven by frustration with the beauty industry’s unsustainable practices and the rise of harmful messaging targeting young consumers, Michelle launched Auê Natural Ltd. The brand is set to disrupt the $677 billion beauty and personal care industry through authenticity, system change, and high-performance products powered by responsibly sourced Amazonian bioactives. Michelle also leads True Value Creation, a freelance consultancy practice focused on helping organisations embed sustainability, purpose, and long-term thinking into their core strategy.
