SELECTION CRITERIA

Essential selection criteria: Candidates should have: • Demonstrable senior level leadership experience in Asset Management with large and complex estates • A qualification in asset management or similar related discipline. • Experience of managing and reporting on large datasets. • Experience of built asset and building services maintenance activities. • Experience in developing Asset Management policy, processes and systems. • Experience of developing and implementing KPIs and SLAs for asset management activities. • Experience of implementing ISO 55001. Desirable selection criteria: The following extra experience are desirable: • Experience of higher educational estates • Experience of whole life costing • Experience of leading and managing teams • Experience of Planon and/or Concerto software packages • Experience of using PowerBI reporting functions. Skills The following skills should be demonstrated: • Excellent communication skills and IT skills • Strong commercial acumen • Ability to manage complex projects under time challenging conditions • Reporting and analysis of data • Effective decision making and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of statutory compliance and health and safety within the built environment
