Founded by a mother whose daughter was killed by a drunk driver, Mothers Against Drunk Driving® (MADD) is the nation’s largest nonprofit working to end drunk driving, help fight drugged driving, support the victims of these violent crimes, and prevent underage drinking. The purpose of the Teen Influencer Group is to provide leadership development for teens by training them to be peer- to-peer educators, who then provide the youth perspective and use their voice to educate the public. TEEN INFLUENCER INSTITUTE
The Teen Influencer Institute is an intensive 5-session virtual summer program designed to train and develop peer-to-peer educators. Graduates will be prepared to represent MADD on a local and national level and provide the youth perspective for underage drinking prevention programming as MADD Teen Influencers.

TEEN INFLUENCER SUMMIT
The Annual MADD Teen Influencer Summit is a one-day free, fun, interactive event that welcomes students, parents, and prevention professionals for networking, resources, and community service hours. MADD Teen Influencers design and plan educational workshops for their peers around various topics related to substance use prevention, traffic safety, and leadership development. Parent workshops are simultaneously led by MADD staff, Teen Influencers, and community partners on similar topics. This event helps MADD Teen Influencers develop crucial skills while they serve as positive peer role models and encourage new members to join the Group.
TEEN INFLUENCER PROJECTS
Monthly Newsletter features articles, graphics, videos and more on various topics related to substance use prevention and leadership development. The newsletter is distributed via email, social media, and our local website.
Healthy Teen Talks is a podcast by teens for teens to discuss all things prevention with the Teen Influencer Group and various guests.
Social channels including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Tik Tok feature videos and PSAs created to highlight Teen Influencer projects and promote health and safety. Media
