Navigating the Grocery Store Aisle

End Users: Our initial end-users are through the EFNEP, SNAP-Ed, and 4-H programs in Connecticut. We are targeting consumers that complete grocery shopping and we want to communicate directly with them through our website, social media, and other platforms. Based on a conversation with the registered dietitian at ShopRite, we also learned that Millennials are more conscious of food marketing labels than other demographics are.

We used a multi-faceted approach to game deployment to increase our reach and use of our game (Table 2) and ideas for our strategic marketing plan (Table 3).
